For the first time, Sharm El-Sheikh Open will take part of the WKF Premier League Karate1 tour on 28th February and 1st March, 2015. Egyptian Karate Federation and Sharm El-Sheik Touristic City will host this great event and will offer the best conditions for all karate competitors.

The tournament will allow 460 athletes from 37 countries to test themselves on the tatami.

Several national delegations will go to Sharm El-Sheikh to complete their preparation for the different championships in March (European and Pan american Championships) or for All African Games 2015 (in September at Brazzaville, Congo), including Egypt, Chile, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Turkey,United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, Congo, among others.

Many of world top athletes, such as Yassmin Attia (Egypt), Giana Lotfy (Egypt), Serap Ozcelik (Turkey), Enes Erkan (Turkey), Aimee Sell (England), Enzo Montarello (France), Gitte Brunstad (Norway), Luigi Busa (Italy) and also a number of world medalists will also be present.
