RESULTS OF KARATE1 PREMIER LEAGUE SHARM EL-SHEIKH

For the first time, Egypt has organised a Premier League Open in Sharm El-Sheikh from 28 February to 1 March 2015.

The tournament hosted 460 athletes from 37 countries. Several national delegations gone to Sharm El-Sheikh to complete their preparation for the different championships in March (European and Pan american Championships) or for All African Games 2015 (in September at Brazzaville, Congo), including Egypt, Chile, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, Congo, among others.

Concerning the classification of nations, Egypt is the first country with 6 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 13 bronze medals for a total of 23 medals. Turkey ranks second (5/3/4), followed by United Arab Emirates (1/2/0).
