EUROPEAN AND PAN AMERICAN SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP, AN OBJECTIVE, THE GAMES QUALIFICATION

Next week, two continental events will be played. These competitions are an important objective for athletes because they are an important step for future qualifications.

From 19 to 21 March the XXIX Pan American Adult Karate Championship will be held in Toronto (Canada) and will qualify for the 2015 Pan American Games.

The Pan American Games are the world’s third largest international multi-sport Games; they are only surpassed in size and scope by the Olympic Summer Games and the Asian Games.In 2015, Toronto will be the proud Host City of the Pan Am Games. The Pan Am Games take place from July 10 to 26.

277 athletes from 22 countries will compete for 18 titles of continental champion.

From 19 to 22 March the 50th EKF Senior Championship will be held in Istanbul (Turkey) and will qualify for the 1st European Games.The European Games is a multi-sport event for athletes from all over Europe and is held every four years. The Games are owned, organised and regulated by the European Olympic Committees. In 2015, Baku will be the proud Host City of the 1st European Games. Competition take place from June 12 to 28.

495 athletes from 47 countries will compete for 18 titles of continental champion.
